Sala Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort, Mai Khao

Amidst beautiful grounds and a stunning beach, my stay provided both serene private moments and some challenges. While the rooms, especially with their spacious private pools, were gorgeous, I found the air conditioning lacking, which detracted from my overall comfort. Service was inconsistent, particularly during initial issues, though many staff members were warm and helpful. Dining overall was enjoyable, especially with the chef's recommendations, but the outdoor dining ambiance could use improvement. I found great relaxation in the spa, highlighting the resort's strengths in wellness.

The hotel has beautiful grounds and is set right on Mai Khao beach, making for stunning views. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is plentiful with lots of delicious options. However, the air conditioning in the rooms isn’t up to par, making them quite uncomfortable at times, and there were issues with room maintenance that could have been handled better by management.

I had a truly relaxing stay at Sala Phuket, enjoying gorgeous surroundings, amazing Thai food, and a private pool villa. The staff were wonderful, always accommodating my needs with a smile. However, the spa pricing was higher than expected, and the villas showed some signs of age. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would happily repeat.
